A short film from the launch of John Lewis Edition, featuring interviews with the key people behind the new lifestyle magazine, is now available below.

Edition was officially unveiled on 3 September 2009 at the Paramount Bar, floor 31 of the famous Centrepoint building in the heart of London.
The glittering event was attended by lifestyle journalists and VIPs eager to see the groundbreaking new publication, which takes the values of customer publishing and houses them within a smart consumer lifestyle package.
John Brown’s Chief Executive Andrew Hirsch and Editor-in-Chief Marie O’Riordan were joined by John Lewis’ Managing Director Andrew Street and Paul Porral, Head of creative services, in introducing Edition to the world.
“There are two things you need to create a great customer magazine: a great client and a great editor,” said Andrew Hirsch. “We were fortunate to have both in John Lewis and Marie O’Riordan. The project has been a true collaboration between John Lewis, Greenbee and John Brown, with John Lewis really allowing us to create something truly special.”
